So why is a buyer agency agreement necessary?
I think a buyer agency agreement is really important for a number of reasons.
After that first initial showing or two with a buyer and we’ve decided that it’s a good fit and the buyer and I work well together, the next step is to have a buyer agency agreement.
That’s important because as a real estate agent, I have a fiduciary responsibility to the client to look out for their best interests and it’s a way for the buyer to show their loyalty to me and frankly as an agent, I need to manage my time well and make sure we are not wasting our time.
A buyer agency agreement is a way for a buyer to hire you as their agent.
