What renovations should sellers complete?
Windows: make sure that there are no cracked windows – make sure the seal hasn’t broken on those windows, and make sure they are in good shape.
Floors: make sure the floors are in good shape, so if they’re wood floors, you may want to refinish them. It there is carpet, you want to replace that if it’s old.
Bathrooms & Kithens: if your house has bathrooms or a kitchen that is over 20 years old, it’s in your best interest to renovate them.
Buyers today are looking for turnkey!
