Do you know there are two types of home inspections you can do when buying a house?
A full inspection is one that is thorough and comes with a report.
The other is a walk-in-talk consultation. The Walk-in-talk is used when it’s a competitive situation and you as a buyer are willing to take the risk of not having a full inspection.
They usually take an hour despite the size of the house and come in handy if you want to write an offer that does not have a home inspection contingency.
The downside to the walk-in-talk is the potential that things can be missed is much higher.
