Today we are looking back at my visit to the
historic DC Firehouse 4 in Shaw for a behind the scenes tour of an operating AirBnB by owner Mike Abbenante.
DC Firehouse 4 on R Street in the Washington DC neighborhood of Shaw was originally built in 1884 and renovated in 2017.
The AirBnB portion of the building features exposed brick and wooden beams and was featured in the Netflix series “Stay Here.”
