Never Skip the Walk-Through
There was a snake – in the house. And this is exactly why we do a final walkthrough before closing.
As buyers, that walkthrough isn’t just a formality — it’s to confirm the home is in the same condition as when you first saw it, that it’s been completely emptied, and that all appliances and fixtures are still in place.
I was with a client recently and during the walkthrough, we found a snake inside the home. Better to discover that before you sign the papers than after you move in.
Bottom line: never skip the walkthrough.
