Coming to you today from Tysons…that’s McLean too!
Tysons, formally known as Tysons Corner, had been a peach grove at the time of the Civil War. It developed into metro Washington’s major shopping mall hubs over the years and now is essentially the central business district for Fairfax County.
McLean’s 22102 overlaps most of what we call Tysons. The area, to give you your bearings, is the residential part of McLean outside of the beltway, neighbors the Potomac to the east, Great Falls to the north and has Vienna and Rout 7 to the west.
Some of the neighborhoods you will find in 22102 are The Reserve, Garfield Park, Bellview Place, Potomac Overlook and well obviously Tysons.
