Did you know in August of 2024 there was a fundamental change to the Multiple Listing Services throughout the US?
We no longer as agents can publish in our MLS how much a seller has agreed to pay towards the buyer agent fee. It’s wild.
We, as agents throughout the country, now need to communicate one-to-one with other agents about what sellers are willing to pay.
It’s a hurdle for us in the industry but also important for consumers to understand. It’s a hot topic.
What do you think of the change? Does it make things better?
